With three decades of experience on oil rigs as geologist on various positions and five years in the offices of international oil companies as operations geologist, I recently interviewed a few hundred mudloggers, data engineers, and wellsite geologists. Disappointingly, I found many lacked proper training or initiative on-the-job learning as well as deficiencies in interview skills. This prompted me to create this website with an intention to provide practical knowledge that can help rig-site geologists significantly improve their performances on the job and in the interviews. 

Currently this website has about 200 questions and answers on mudlogging section. Whereas, Q&A sections on data engineering and wellsite geology are under construction. Your suggestions to improve the quality of Q&A as well as your contribution in the form of additional Q&A will be highly appreciated.
